Angelos joined Euroglobal in 2006 and is currently the executive director of the firm and member of board. He is responsible for the firm’s development strategy and is the primary relationship liaison for a portfolio of clients. He completed his secondary education at the American Academy of Nicosia and in his final year was elected President of the Student Council and graduated with honors. He was also awarded the Ruth E. Donavan Youth Prize for Ethos and Evidence of Brotherly Concern to his fellow students. In 2003 he obtained his first degree in economic sciences from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. Thereafter, Angelos qualified as a certified accountant in 2006 and became a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus in the same year and subsequently also admitted to fellowship of the ACCA.
With more than 12 years of experience in public practice, Angelos is involved on a daily basis in financial audits and related assurance services, business and tax advisory, rendered to clients in various industries ranging from retail trading to investment holdings both in Cyprus and abroad. In addition, Angelos is a registered nominated advisor with the Cyprus Stock Exchange and champions the listing process for the firm’s clients. He has also lectured part-time on subjects for the ACCA qualification, and written various articles on related topics within his field of expertise focusing on Cyprus within the international business environment.
He currently serves on the EMEA regional board of directors of BKR International and is the Chairman of both BKR’s Worldwide and EMEA’s Tax Committees. Angelos is also an active member of several local business associations, including the parents and teachers association board of the Junior Grammar School.
