Pantelis Christofides joined the firm in June 2007 after completing a Master of Laws programme at the University of Cambridge (Fitzwilliam College) specializing in European Union Law.

Pantelis graduated in 2006 with a First Class Honours LLB from the Faculty of Law of the University of Leicester. In July 2008 he was enrolled as an Advocate in the Republic of Cyprus. He is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association and of the Nicosia Bar Association. He was awarded the Professional Diploma in Legal Practice with Distinction graduating in July 2009 the Legal Practice Course (LPC) in Nottingham Law School (Nottingham Trent University). In September 2010 he was admitted as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb).

He is also a Non - Governmental Advisor to the International Competition Network (ICN). 

His main areas of practice are EU law, public tender law, protection of competition law, concentration control law, international private and public law, anti – money laundering legislation and compliance issues, human rights law, and data protection law. Pantelis is representing clients before the competent authorities of the Republic of Cyprus, including District Courts, the Supreme Court of Cyprus, the Commission for the Protection of Competition of the Republic of Cyprus (CPC), the Commissioner of Administration (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Cyprus, and the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection.

Pantelis has appeared before the CPC handling notifications of concentrations in relation to both domestic and international clients, including NYSE listed companies, as well as being a defense team member in relation to alleged concerted practice proceedings. He has also assisted in the preparation and filing of notifications before the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection and acted in relation to complaint proceedings before the said Office.

He has appeared before the Court of Justice of the European Union in the proceedings relating to the first preliminary reference of the Supreme Court of Cyprus under the former Article 234 EC. He has also advised on numerous occasions on matters of inter-state criminal law such as the application of the Framework Decision on the European Arrest Warrant.

He is a regular Trainer - Speaker at the Cyprus Financial Services Firms Association (C.F.S.F.A) Anti - Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing Seminars and he has attended as Speaker the Cyprus Bar Association Anti - Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing Seminars.
